Alberta Transportation requires new drivers with a Class 7 Learner’s or a Class 5 Graduated Driver’s Licence (GDL) complete at least 15 hours of classroom and 10 hours of in-vehicle instruction and to pass the knowledge and practical assessments to receive a Notice of Driver Education Course Completion form from the driver training school.

Drivers who already have have a Class 5 non GDL Licence must complete at least 15 hours of classroom and a minimum of 6 hours of in-vehicle training.

The Notice of Driver Education Course Completion form may be used to get a discount on your vehicle insurance.

  After I wasted so much time with another driving school, I met someone who referred me to CITY OF CHAMPIONS DRIVING SCHOOL and my instructor was VALENTINE. After struggling with a few things on the road which includes parallel parking, Valentine was able to make everything easy guys. Not only that, he was patient, gentle and nice overall and he has the needs of his students at heart. If you're looking for a very nice driving school with experienced instructors, don't look NO further. Contact the City Of Champions and your money will be worth it. Best driving school ever.   City of Champions driving school was a great experience for me overall! The in class sessions were quick and efficient. The driving part was great as Valentine, the instructor was very positive and taught me all the rules of the road. After going to city of champions driving school, I passed my drivers test on my first try! Very cheap price as well compared to many other driving schools????
